With over 20 years of dedicated experience in the hair industry, I haven’t just been doing hair; I have been living and breathing it. My passion for hairdressing is the driving force behind my career, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have taken on various roles across the world.
Hairdressing has always been my dream, and the journey has been a wild one to say the least. The more I learn, the deeper my love grows for my craft—there’s always something new to discover. I’m committed to continuous education and exploration in areas such as advanced techniques, new industry science and technological advancements, evolutions in inclusivity and sustainability. My goal is to enhance my role as a health and wellness provider in our community.
With years of experience comes a wealth of knowledge, but I believe that advanced and ongoing education is crucial for providing the best service and experience possible. I have invested heavily in hands-on training, particularly in dry cutting and curly hair textures. Additionally, my credentials as a Trichologist (AT) and Hair Loss Practitioner (HLP) allow me to support clients facing hair loss and scalp concerns.
Currently, I am expanding my expertise by studying cosmetic science to fully understand the ingredients in personal care products. I am also enrolled in a toxicology course at Johns Hopkins University, exploring how these substances affect our health. My personal health journey—including experiences with autoimmune disease, alopecia, and multiple chemical sensitivities—has driven me to make informed changes in my practice. Rather than stepping away from hairdressing, I adjusted my focus to non-toxic hair care and holistic treatments.
Residing in Guam, a beautiful island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, is a privilege I cherish. This vibrant location, enriched by its diversity—primarily Chamorro, Filipino, and other Islanders—provides me with opportunities to work with a wide range of hair textures. It truly is the best place in the world to cut hair.
When I’m not in the salon or studying, you can find me at the beach, swimming in the ocean, sharing coffee with friends, or taking photos.
Exciting Projects Ahead:
The construction of my private suite is underway, and I’ll be resuming trichology examinations and consultations in 2026.
I am developing local partnerships focused on sustainable salon initiatives.
I’m getting involved with a new community initiative to support victims of domestic violence and abuse.
